CANTLIN LAW FIRM OBTAINS $335,000.00 SETTLEMENT IN DOG BITE CASE
Attorneys John L. Cantlin and Timothy B. Cantlin of the Cantlin Law Firm, obtained a $335,000.00 settlement on behalf of a local Mendota women for injuries sustained as a result of being attacked by a dog. The case was settled on January 31, 2017.
The Plaintiff, a 79-year-old female, was in the process of retrieving her newspaper at the end of her driveway. As she bent down to retrieve the newspaper a dog bit into her leather jacket and pulled her forcibly to the ground. As a result of this dog attack, the Plaintiff suffered multiple injuries including a right femur fracture, right elbow injury, and a right wrist contusion.
