Keith has over 40 years of experience in the general civil practice of law concentrating in local government law. Keith has represented the City of Ottawa, City of Marseilles, Village of Seneca, Village of Ransom, City of LaSalle, City of Oglesby, County of LaSalle, and the Seneca Regional Port District.
Keith’s professional associations include the LaSalle County Bar Association, Illinois State Bar Association, Institute for Local Government Law and the International Municipal Lawyer’s Association.
Keith received his Bachelor of Science degree from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale in 1969, and his Doctor of Jurisprudence from St. Louis University Law School in 1973. Keith was licensed and admitted to practice law in Missouri and Illinois in 1973, and earned admission to the United States District Court, Northern and Central Districts of Illinois in 1976. He was admitted to the bar of the United States Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit in 2001.
